Transfer ~ one last time

Dear Wonderful family of mine,
Well as a Leatherows we have this habit of liking to stay in our shells and not liking the idea complete of change, that is probably a good reason why we never have ever moved and what not and I am starting to think that is probably why the Lord continues to throw that at me but it's still a struggle for me, you would think it would be easier after having 16 changes in the mission, but I am doing better and hanging in there!!
Elder Smartt left Wednesday morning and I went and picked up my new companion, which is a great guy it's just is always a change and something that takes a bit to get used to!! I sure do miss Elder Smartt I will not tell a lie, he was such a great companion and he fit so well with me!! Elder Smith, my new companion, is really great though too!! He is from the same place as Elder Smartt Gilbert, Arizona!  He is a funny guy and he has a lot of time in the mission as well, he has almost like 17 months, so he knows what the mission is like and works hard, which is good and what I needed!
The area is doing good, we are still having trouble getting people to come to church with the church being a little ways out of the way, makes it really hard so we will continue to work and pray that the people will also see that they need to go to church, and not just the close one but the true one!!  The crazy part also is that Elder Caldwell, who was my companion back in the MTC, is now here in my distrct with me! That is pretty cool, that we will die together now!!
Well family I love you all so much and hope you have such a great week!!
Mother I love you to the moon and back and then some more.
Con mucho amor,
Elder Leatherow

Photos from this past week

Elder Leatherow and Elder Smith
With this being my last 6 weeks, I am going to try to snap a random photo  EVERY day ~ here is one of those
A while back Melissa Vasquez sent me (the mom) a friend request on Facebook.  I didn't know anyone by that name but took a chance well I am sure glad I did!  This sweet gal is the daughter of Wes' mission president and she tags me in lots of photo.  How cool is that.  Enjoy the photos of the last trip to the temple.

Melissa said in the above photo Wes is laughing at her because she just ran into the glass door.  I love this photo more than words.
Melissa is now getting ready to embark on an adventure of her own, she has been called to serve a mission in the Salt Lake City Temple Square mission.  Now I get to visit temple square and return the favor for another sweet missionary momma.
