testifico de milagros (testify of miracles)

Bendito Mi Familia,

How is everyone doing this fine Monday morning??? How was the first week of school for you guys go??? Sorry but yes summer is finally over that is crazy it went by way too fast if you ask me.
I have a few questions though that i would like you all to stop and think about that really changed my life and really helped me progress…#1 What kind of man do you want to be?  #2 What type of man should you be? and  #3 What type of man does the Lord need you to be? Those questions have seriously helped me so much and truly made me look at myself and see what I want out of this life and what i want for my future and after this life. So maybe when you get a chance sit down or just ponder those as you are going through out your day, no matter your age, gender, situation; you can still have time to change, if you need to repent do it, if you aren`t where you should be then do the things that will help you get to where you should and the Lord needs you to be. I can testify to you that the Lord is there to help us all and He wants to help but we first must ¨seek it and then ye shall recieve¨
This week was a good one we had a family go to the temple with our ward and attend a baptism service and they now want to be baptized and are understanding everything more clearly ~  it seriously is an answer to my prayers!!! I read a talk this past week that was in a conference a few years back okay a ways back in October of 1989 by Elder Richard G. Scott.  I know that there is a few of you searching for an answer or don`t know what desicion to make so maybe if you have a chance look it up and then think about it and then you to can get a better understanding of our Heavenly Father. Its titled  ¨Agency and Answers Recognizing Revelation¨.
This family that we are teaching are great and we are going to go put a date for baptism with them this week for the middle of Septiembre, so I am pretty excited about that one I will not tell a lie.
I hope that you all are having a great time and enjoying the weather!  Here in my new area we get soaked every day, or well it rains every day usually at night so just depends if we can get into the house before it starts or not. (;  It does get hot but nothing like my last area that I was in.
Well sorry for talking your ear off, I will let you guys go for the week, I love you guys, especially you mom to the moon and back and then some, I hope you all have a great week!!!!
con mucho amor.

P.s. sorry the shift button wouldn`t really work so my letter is really crappy

okay so i have a little extra time and you all have asked about the companion ~  he is from Nicaragua I think that's how you spell it, he has about 10 months in the mission or so. and we get along...just there will be always those moments when people don`t see eye to eye which is normal right? so its all good.  We are doing what we can I know the Lord put us together for a reason and it will only help me grow and become who the Lord needs me to be. i hope that might clear up some things for ya if there is anything else just ask I will be happy to answer them for ya. Also, i knew him from my last area we were in the same zone so we saw each other a regular basis and got to know him and what not a little before hand….
well that is all i have family have a great week
love ya!

Mircles

Dear Family,

Man,  I have one good looking family I tell ya what!!!! You guys look great in your church clothes at the temple I can`t wait to enter into it with you guys; it looks beautiful!!!!
Sounds like you all are living your last bit of summer time up and that is exactly what I like to hear!!!
This week in the area was good so freaking rough and tiring and oh man does it get hot here too! We did a ton of work and walking, talking, and finding this past week, and I can`t begin to express my gratitude for the Lord and our Savior. We fasted and prayed this week to get our area going with baptisms and people to teach that are actually positive!! The Lord ALWAYS comes through on his part I can testify of that. This week we had four people in church but three have never been to our church ever and one we put a baptismal date with for Septiembre. We also found out that one of our investigators should be getting married within the month and then we can baptize her and they can move forward as a family!! They are a supèr young couple (17 y 19) of age.
We are so excited about being here in Paleca, come to find out that they took the Elders out of here for problems and the miembros lost so much trust in us as missionaries but when they saw we brought 4 people to church they were so stoked and they were all older too not just little kids!! So that was even better!! My testimony has grown so much on the power of Prayer, and that He truly does listen to us and knows what we need!
He even blessed me this past week specifically folks....they now sell Mountain Dew on a regular basis now I can find it in just about any store, so after some days where it is just so stressful or so long I can buy one and drink it slowly and just breath and think for a minute!! You talk about a blessing my friends!! (;

I don`t want to take to much of your time, so thanks everyone for support and love and prayers, they have been felt and answered this week!! I hope you all have a great week and I believe I heard that school is starting this week right? If so have a great first week at school!
I love you all, mother I love you to the moon and back and then some!!
Have a great week fam!
Con mucho amor,

Love ya ~ thanks for everything!

This man helped me so much in my last area and we became great friends

Good Bye Country Living

Well as you might of been able to read or guess it...I said goodbye to my area after being there for like 7 months so you can say that was a tough good bye but I have full trust in the Lord that He knows what He is doing and putting me some where so I can help someone receive the gospel. I have completely come back into the city and I am back in the capital basically in an Area called Soyapango. So it is a rather huge change up for me here being back in the city life and that I am in a ward now and not a branch. I have met the bishop though and man is he great and I am truly looking forward to working with him and the ward that is here. I am opening an area though so that is rough.
What does opening an area mean you might ask?? Great question cause this is my first time so we will learn together! (; Basically I am coming here with my new companion who has no idea as well and we are dropped off to find members and people to teach and where the church is at and all that fun stuff!!! So you can say I have my hands pretty full as of right now with a lot of work to be done to make this a thriving area but I am up for the challenge and I know with the Lord`s hand He will guide us through it all! It makes for long times on my knees pleading with the big man upstairs for help and to comfort us in this new area. just like it says in the 1Nephi 3:7 I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded me becauseI know that the Lord giveth no commandment is he shall preapare a way for him to accomplish the things which he hath commanded of them. So we will do just that, it has caused a lot more cautions though as i never have been asked by so many gangsters if I was a cop and if I had a quarter so they could go buy a drink but hey that's what makes the mission life so fun and never boring! Because the Lord is with us and he will protect us!
Well family I don`t have a lot to report besides that because we are starting out fresh and beginning from the ground up up! But just like mother always said Attitude determines Altitude, so we will stay positive and patient as we work and wait for those miracles from the Lord in His work here in Soyapango!
Well family I love you all so mucho and mother know that i love you to the moon and back and then some and hope and pray that you all have a great week this week!!
Con mucho amor

Hey Family

Well that sure is a cute new member of the family I won`t tell a lie and I can`t wait to meet her in a year or so! I hope she likes to swim as well cause there will be a lot of dead ducks and geese to be retrieving! (;  How is Kita doing though? Did you finally take her in and put her down?

Well for this week was a extremely hard working week for us here, we worked so hard and walked our butts off; talked with literally everyone in the street and boy am I glad I got a little bit to relax today before we get ready to do it again. That truly blessed us though and we found 15 new people to teach and most of them are families!!! So such a blessing that is to be able to share the gospel with families and help them recieve the gospel! We could have changes this Wednesday though so that could possible really make it a tough one for us we are praying for one more change together so we can see them through. There is one family that is truly awesome and even invited us over to eat lunch and everything and then teach them and they always ask when we are going to come back when we leave! So they are truly great people, it's sad their living conditions but they truly are a testimony builder for me! The Lord truly does bless us as long as we first seek to do His will and not our own!
We also met this guy who practically lived in the States his whole live who is rich but he barely speaks English but he came back here to retire and live and he built a huge house and he let us go uptop and take pictures and I got one with him! He is great, I truly think we can baptize him just have to do it quick before he heads back to the States again! So I will try and send those photos to ya today and also of my district for this past change so enjoy those pics.

Sorry its kind of a short one just more a hard work, long walking, proclaiming the truthfulness of the gospel to all who will listen kind of a week!!! I love you all so much and stay tuned in to next weeks letter maybe new companion or area or the both who knows...only the Lord and I trust that He knows what is best for the work! I love you mom to the moon and back and then some!
Have a great week and continue to let the Lord guide you!!
Con mucho amor
